The Country Director (CD) serves as FH’s chief representative in South Sudan. The CD provides overall leadership to the organization’s response to human suffering in South Sudan and manages a portfolio of multi-sector relief projects. Within the framework of the FH Heartbeat, the CD develops and delivers on plans that contribute to the achievement of the country strategy by developing leaders, increasing program impact, enhancing internal systems, growing funding and strengthening key relationships. Given the nature of managing operations in South Sudan, the position demands a proactive self-starter who is able to understand and engage with the government at all levels while simultaneously positioning FH for growth and minimizing potential risk.
Responsibilities
Key Result #1 – Program Management and Implementation Oversight (35%).
Key Result #2 – Staff management and development (20%).
Key Result #3 – Strategy and Resource Development (35%).
Key Result #4 – Representation (10%).
