The MENTOR Initiative (MENTOR) is an international non-governmental organisation devoted to reducing death and suffering from malaria in humanitarian crises. The MENTOR Initiative is currently providing ongoing emergency support to the most vulnerable communities in Liberia, Angola, Kenya, the Central African Republic, South Sudan and Chad.
The Technical Placement is a learning role in which the successful person will learn new administration and programs skills and systems with The MENTOR Initiative – South Sudan.
The Technical Placement officer will support the CD in the various tasks set forth. The position will be based in Juba with potential short trips to the field if required by the line manager. As a member of the South Sudan Team, the Technical Placement contributes to the development of the overall country programme and plays an essential role in coordinating support from Juba level.
This position is non-remunerated. The Compensation is an in-country living allowance of 22 USD per day, comprehensive insurance, and a round-trip flight to and from the country field programme. Accommodation is provided by The MENTOR Initiative during the period of the Technical Placement.
