Purpose of the Job:-
To teach and access students in accordance with the set curriculum and academic programs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:-
· Facilitation of learning to student at the Institute.
· Facilitation of learning at the Health Facilities, Communities and relevant stakeholders.
· Supervision of students on field practice
· Planning, designing and development of appropriate teaching and learning aids
· Conducting continuous, formative and summative student assessments
· Participating in periodic curriculum development and evaluation.
· Providing mentorship, coaching, career guidance to students
· Participate in planning and supervision of co-curricular activities
· Participate in the day to day running of Institute
· Prepare reports as per stake holders requirements
Qualifications and Competencies: The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Higher Diploma in Health Personnel Education. A first degree in medical field will be an added advantage. Must be ICT proficient. At least two (2) years relevant work experience in clinical teaching. In addition the ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, problem solver, negotiator, team player and ability to work under minimum supervision
